Ingredients
  

Fries
  • 3 medium sweet potatoes peeled and cut into fries
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
Seasoning
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into evenly sized fries.
  2. Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and dry thoroughly.
  3. Toss fries with olive oil and cornstarch until lightly coated.
  4. Add salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and cayenne; mix well.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
  6. Arrange fries in a single layer in the basket.
  7. Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  8. Increase heat to 400°F for last 2 minutes for extra crispiness and serve immediately.

Notes

For crispier fries, cut thinner and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
