Apple Cinnamon Tea

A warm, soothing spiced apple drink made with fresh apples and cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 apples thinly sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves optional
  • 1 tsp tea leaves optional
Optional Additions
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Strainer
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add sliced apples, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add tea leaves if using. Steep 3–5 minutes.
  5. Strain liquid into cups or a teapot.
  6. Sweeten with honey and add lemon juice if desired.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

Use sweet apples for a naturally sweeter tea. Adjust spice levels to taste.
