Ingredients
  

Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced to paste
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp warm water optional, for thinning

Method
 

  1. Finely chop parsley and mince garlic into a paste.
  2. In a bowl, combine parsley, garlic, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in red wine vinegar and let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Slowly mix in olive oil until fully combined.
  5. Add warm water if a thinner consistency is desired.
  6. Let rest at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served fresh but can be refrigerated up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature and stir before serving.
