Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard yellow
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 32 oz tater tots frozen
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Drain grease and stir in cooked bacon.
  4. Mix in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, cheese, and seasonings.
  5. Spread mixture into the casserole dish.
  6. Arrange tater tots evenly on top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are crisp.
  8. Top with cheese and bake 5–7 minutes more.

Notes

For added flavor, top with pickles or drizzle with burger sauce.
