- Slice tomatoes, salt them, and let drain for 20–30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pre-bake the pie crust for 8–10 minutes.
- Caramelize onions in butter until golden, 10–12 minutes.
- Cook bacon until crisp and chop into pieces.
- Layer onions, tomatoes, and bacon inside the pie crust.
- Mix cheddar, mozzarella, mayonnaise, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Spread the cheese mixture on top of the layered pie.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
