Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet, draining excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
- Season with chili powder and cumin, then stir in enchilada sauce.
- Layer tortillas, beef mixture, and cheese in the baking dish.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes, uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
- Rest 10 minutes before serving.
