Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In another bowl mix sugars, pumpkin, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread frosting over cooled bars, slice, and serve.
Notes
For best texture, do not overbake. Chill before slicing for clean edges.
