- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
- Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 50–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Whisk powdered sugar and lemon juice to make the glaze.
- Pour glaze over warm loaf, cool completely before slicing.
