- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans.
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, butter, and vanilla and mix well.
- Slowly mix in hot coffee until smooth batter forms.
- Divide batter into pans.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until done.
- Cool completely on rack.
- Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy.
- Layer and frost cake evenly.
