Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 3 cups cooked pasta cooled
  • 1 lb ground beef cooked and drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups lettuce chopped
  • 0.5 cup pickles diced
  • 0.5 cup tomatoes diced
  • 0.25 cup onion finely diced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional
Dressing
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, rinse with cool water, and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, crumble, drain fat, and cool.
  3. In a large bowl combine pasta, beef, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onion.
  4. Whisk dressing ingredients together in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour dressing over salad and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired and serve.

Notes

Add lettuce just before serving for best texture. Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
