Ingredients
  

Pork Chops
  • 4 boneless pork chops 1 inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Brown Sugar Glaze
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until browned, then remove.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to skillet.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, and chicken broth, stirring until dissolved.
  7. Return pork chops to skillet and simmer 5–8 minutes until cooked to 145°F (63°C).
  8. Spoon glaze over pork chops before serving.

Notes

For a thicker glaze, simmer an additional 2–3 minutes before serving.
