Chamomile Lavender Sleep Tonic

Ingredients
  

Tonic
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers
  • 0.5 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1-2 tsp honey optional
  • 1 slice lemon optional
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional

Equipment

  • Saucepan or kettle
  • Strainer
  • Teapot or mug
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan or kettle.
  2. Place chamomile and lavender into a mug or teapot.
  3. Pour hot water over herbs.
  4. Cover and steep for 7–10 minutes.
  5. Strain into a mug.
  6. Stir in honey if desired.
  7. Add lemon or cinnamon if using.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Use culinary-grade lavender only. Adjust steep time for stronger or milder flavor.
