Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Sauté onion in butter and olive oil until soft, then add garlic.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in milk and cream, cooking until thickened.
- Add cheeses and seasoning, stirring until smooth.
- Combine sauce with pasta, ham, and peas.
- Transfer to baking dish and top with Parmesan and breadcrumbs.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
You can substitute turkey or chicken for ham and add extra vegetables if desired.
