Ingredients
  

Stromboli
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.75 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a 10x14-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce, then layer pepperoni slices on top.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  6. Roll dough tightly from the long side into a log and pinch seams closed.
  7. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and olive oil, then sprinkle garlic powder on top.
  8. Cut small slits on top and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks while baking.
