Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup kidney beans drained
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet or Dutch oven
  • Saucepan
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet and add onion and garlic.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, and spices and simmer.
  4. Make cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour and milk, then cheese.
  5. Combine pasta, chili, and cheese sauce until well mixed.
