- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes and softened butter; mix until smooth.
- Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs; mix well to combine.
- Stir in milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until mixture is smooth.
- Pour filling into unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until center is set and only slightly jiggles.
- Cool completely on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, bake sweet potatoes instead of boiling them.
