Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar or honey optional

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Kettle
  • Measuring cups
  • Tea strainer

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan or kettle.
  2. Steep black tea leaves or tea bags in hot water for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Warm milk in a separate saucepan over low heat without boiling.
  4. Remove tea leaves or bags and stir vanilla and sweetener into the tea.
  5. Add warm milk to the tea, stir gently, and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to taste. Can be served iced.
