Ingredients
  

Crack Green Beans
  • 4 cans green beans drained
  • 1 lb bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.66 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place drained green beans in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy and crumble it.
  4. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
  5. Stir most of the bacon into the glaze and pour over green beans.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Top with remaining bacon and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or cayenne.
