Sausage Bites
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries finely chopped
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sausage, cheddar cheese, and chopped cranberries in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Mix dry ingredients and milk into sausage mixture until combined.
  5. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Finely chop cranberries for even distribution. Can be frozen before or after baking.
