Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken, then sauté garlic in butter in the same skillet.
  4. Add cream and simmer gently, then stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add pasta and sliced chicken to sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

Notes

Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
