Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, sliced
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini refrigerated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pot for boiling pasta
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, reserve pasta water, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add butter and garlic to skillet, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Pour in cream, add seasoning and parmesan, and simmer until thickened.
  5. Add tortellini and reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Return steak to skillet, toss gently, and cook until heated through.

Notes

Adjust sauce thickness with pasta water and avoid overcooking the steak.
