- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat butter and oil in a skillet. Cook onion and garlic until soft.
- Add carrots, peas, and chicken. Stir to combine.
- Sprinkle flour over mixture and cook briefly. Slowly stir in broth and cream.
- Season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Mix biscuit dry ingredients, cut in butter, and stir in milk to form dough.
- Drop biscuit dough over filling.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
Notes
For extra flavor, add shredded cheddar to the biscuit dough or fresh herbs to the filling.
