Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook lasagna noodles until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk until thickened.
- Season sauce with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and stir in Parmesan.
- Mix ricotta, egg, and seasoning in a bowl.
- Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta, chicken, spinach, and cheese in baking dish.
- Repeat layers and finish with sauce and cheese.
- Cover and bake 25 minutes, uncover and bake 15–20 minutes until golden.
Notes
Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing for best results.
