- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking pan with parchment and grease lightly.
- Squeeze excess moisture from shredded potatoes using a clean towel.
- Combine potatoes, cheese, onion, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs with melted butter, then mix into potato mixture.
- Press mixture firmly into prepared pan in an even layer.
- Bake 35–45 minutes until golden brown and crispy at the edges.
- Cool slightly, lift out, slice into squares, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes and let rest before slicing.
