Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings split
  • 1 tbsp baking powder aluminum free
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp hot sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings completely dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and onion powder.
  4. Toss wings in seasoning until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange wings on rack in single layer.
  6. Bake 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 20–25 minutes until crispy.
  7. Heat barbecue sauce, honey, vinegar, and hot sauce until combined.
  8. Toss wings in sauce and bake 5 more minutes before serving.

Drying wings thoroughly ensures maximum crispiness.
