Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or a wire rack.
- Crush pretzels into coarse crumbs and place in a bowl.
- Mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk eggs with milk in another bowl.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture, then press into pretzels.
- Place on baking sheet and lightly spray with oil.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Melt butter in saucepan, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk until thickened.
- Stir in cheese and seasoning until smooth. Serve with chicken.
Notes
For extra crunch, bake chicken on a wire rack and use coarse pretzel crumbs.
