Ingredients
  

Chicken Alfredo
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb fettuccine or penne pasta uncooked

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, butter, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–3 hours.
  4. Remove chicken, shred, and return to the sauce.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add dry pasta to the crock pot and cook an additional 20–30 minutes until tender.
  7. Stir, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For best texture, add pasta only at the end to prevent overcooking.
