  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta cooked al dente
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in Crock Pot and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add garlic, cream cheese, and butter on top of chicken.
  3. Pour heavy cream and chicken broth over the mixture, stir lightly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.
  5. Shred chicken with forks and return to Crock Pot.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth.
  7. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, drain.
  8. Toss pasta with sauce or serve sauce over pasta.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Best served fresh. Store leftovers in airtight container for up to 3 days.
