Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp white vinegar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and dust ramekins with cocoa powder.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Whisk in powdered sugar.
  4. Add eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and red food coloring.
  5. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
  6. Stir in vinegar.
  7. Divide batter into ramekins.
  8. Bake 11–13 minutes until edges are set.
  9. Rest 1 minute, invert, and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overbake or the molten center will set completely.
