Deviled Strawberries

Ingredients
  

Strawberries
  • 24 large strawberries washed and dried
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup whipped topping
Toppings
  • 0.25 cup graham cracker crumbs optional
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Hand mixer
  • Piping bag
  • Paring knife

Method
 

  1. Wash strawberries, remove stems, and slice in half lengthwise.
  2. Carefully scoop a small indentation in each strawberry half.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold in whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  5. Transfer filling to piping bag and pipe into strawberries.
  6. Sprinkle with toppings as desired.
  7. Chill 15–20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served same day. Use firm strawberries for best results.
