Method
- Season pork with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear pork in skillet with olive oil until browned on all sides.
- Transfer pork to slow cooker with barbecue sauce and broth.
- Cook on low 6–8 hours until tender and easy to shred.
- Shred pork and mix back into sauce.
- Place bottom buns in baking dish and layer pork and cheese.
- Add top buns and brush with butter, honey, and mustard mixture.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden.
Notes
You can substitute rotisserie pork or leftover roast pork for a faster version.
