Ingredients
  

Pinwheels
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup fresh spinach finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese, spinach, garlic, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and spread filling evenly over the surface.
  4. Roll pastry tightly into a log and chill for 15 minutes.
  5. Slice into pinwheels and arrange in a Christmas tree shape.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake 18–22 minutes until golden.

Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
