Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 1.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cherries pitted and halved
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugars until glossy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Combine cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture.
  7. Stir in cherries and chocolate chips.
  8. Spread batter into pan and smooth top.
  9. Bake 28–32 minutes until edges are set.
  10. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and chill before cutting.
