Ingredients
  

Steak and Potatoes
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak cut into cubes
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes halved
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika optional
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.5 tsp dried rosemary

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add halved baby potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and herbs, and cook 10–12 minutes until crispy.
  3. Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons butter to skillet and sear steak on high heat 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Add remaining butter and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
  7. Return potatoes to skillet and toss everything together.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, finish with fresh lemon juice or add red pepper flakes.
