Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2.25 tsp instant yeast
  • 0.75 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Filling
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup ricotta cheese
  • 0.5 cup pepperoni mini or chopped
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce
  • 0.5 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 tsp basil
Garlic Parmesan Topping
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix into soft dough.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled.
  5. Mix filling ingredients in a bowl.
  6. Roll dough into rectangle and spread sauce.
  7. Add filling evenly and roll into log.
  8. Slice into pieces and place on baking sheet.
  9. Rest 15 minutes.
  10. Bake at 400°F until golden.
  11. Mix topping ingredients.
  12. Brush topping over hot rolls and serve.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake on a preheated pizza stone.
