Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup fresh strawberries finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup strawberry jam

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing gently.
  5. Fold in strawberries and jam.
  6. Roll batter into balls and place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes, then cool completely.
  8. Dip in strawberry glaze and allow to set.

Notes

For best results, use ripe strawberries and allow glaze to fully set before storing.
