Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and salt until dough forms.
- Press two-thirds of dough into prepared pan.
- Mix caramel sauce with condensed milk and spread over dough.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Top with remaining dough in small pieces.
- Bake 28–32 minutes until golden. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and chill before slicing.
