Ingredients
  

Mashed Potatoes
  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup milk or cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
Ground Beef Gravy
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika optional
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
  2. Mash potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet.
  4. Add onion and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in garlic, then add flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring constantly.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
  8. Simmer until gravy thickens.
  9. Serve beef gravy over mashed potatoes.

Notes

Adjust gravy thickness by adding more broth or simmering longer.
