- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are browned.
- Add ground beef and cook until fully browned.
- Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and stir for 1 minute.
- Slowly add beef broth while stirring. Simmer until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked noodles, toss to coat, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, do not boil the sauce after adding sour cream.
