  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook bow tie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve pasta water.
  2. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Brown ground beef until fully cooked.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and seasonings.
  5. Simmer sauce for 20 minutes, adjusting consistency with pasta water.
  6. Toss pasta with sauce and serve hot.
