Ingredients
  

Cranberry Topping
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers seeded and finely diced
  • 3 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Cream Cheese Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

Method
 

  1. Rinse and finely chop fresh cranberries.
  2. Dice jalapeños finely, removing seeds for less heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix cranberries, jalapeños, green onions, sugar, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, and salt.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Spread softened cream cheese onto a serving plate or bowl.
  6. Top cream cheese with cranberry mixture just before serving.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño quantity for preferred spice level. Best made a day ahead.
