Ingredients

Tea Base
  • 2 English Breakfast tea bags or 2 tsp loose-leaf
  • 2 cups water boiling
  • 1-2 tbsp sweetener sugar, honey, or syrup, to taste
Latte
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method

  1. Brew the tea by steeping tea bags in boiling water for 4–5 minutes for a strong flavor.
  2. Stir in sweetener while the tea is still hot so it dissolves completely.
  3. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature or refrigerate for faster chilling.
  4. Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
  5. Pour milk over the ice, filling each glass about one-third to one-half full.
  6. Slowly pour the cooled tea over the milk to create a layered effect.
  7. Stir gently, adjust sweetness if needed, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use strong-brewed tea for best flavor and adjust milk and sweetener to taste. For a dairy-free version, substitute oat or almond milk.
