- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 dish and parbake the biscuits for 8 minutes.
- Brown the ground beef, drain fat, add taco seasoning and water, and simmer until thickened.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, 1 cup cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Combine bell peppers, onion, tomato, and green chiles.
- Layer biscuits, beef, vegetables, and the sour-cream mixture.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Letting it rest helps the layers set for cleaner slices.
