Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 2 thick-cut steaks ribeye or sirloin
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Cast iron skillet
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Bring steaks to room temperature and season generously.
  2. Heat skillet and sear steaks until golden and cooked to preference.
  3. Remove steaks and rest.
  4. Sauté garlic in butter, add broth and cream.
  5. Simmer and finish with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve steaks topped with creamy garlic sauce.
