- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Sauté broccoli in olive oil with a pinch of salt until tender-crisp, then set aside.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat and drain excess grease.
- Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer briefly.
- Return broccoli to pan and toss to coat in sauce.
- Serve beef and broccoli over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Add gochujang for extra spice or top with a fried egg for richness.
