Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Earl Grey tea finely ground
  • 1 tsp culinary lavender crushed
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk or lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, ground Earl Grey tea, lavender, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and lemon zest.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until dough forms.
  5. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  6. Roll dough into balls, place on baking sheets, and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cookies.

Notes

Use culinary-grade lavender sparingly to avoid overpowering flavor.
