Fries
  • 2 lb russet potatoes or frozen fries
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for fresh potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 cup ranch dressing
  • 0.25 cup green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss potatoes or fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Bake fries in a single layer for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  4. While fries bake, cook bacon until crispy and crumble.
  5. Top hot fries with shredded cheddar and return to oven until melted.
  6. Finish with bacon, drizzle ranch dressing, and garnish with green onions.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Serve ranch on the side if you want to keep fries extra crispy for longer.
