Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated and cooled
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Topping
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • 8x8 baking pan
  • Spatula
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and milk.
  4. Add heat-treated flour and salt; mix until dough forms.
  5. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  6. Press dough evenly into prepared pan.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
  8. Spread melted chocolate over dough and chill until firm before slicing.
