Ingredients
  

Base Layer
  • 3 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter optional
Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramels
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt
Chocolate Topping
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup crushed pretzels for garnish
  • flaky sea salt for topping

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, graham crumbs, melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter.
  3. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Melt caramel and heavy cream until smooth; stir in sea salt.
  5. Spread caramel layer evenly over the base.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth and pour over caramel.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed pretzels and flaky sea salt.
  8. Chill for 2–3 hours, slice, and serve.

Notes

Use a warm knife for clean cuts. Store refrigerated for best results.
