Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Gooey Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3.5 cups powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, melted butter, and egg until dough forms. Press into bottom of pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until creamy.
  5. Pour cream cheese mixture over crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden on edges but slightly jiggly in center.
  7. Cool completely before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Do not overbake—center should remain gooey for authentic texture.
